FAYETTE DAVIS STORM WATER PUMP STATION

Project Description:

The Fayette Davis Drainage basin consist of 250 acres and approximately 200 homes. In March of 2016, 42 of the homes flooded as a result of an unprecedent storm. To prevent any future flooding, the existing storm water lift station was updated to protect the area. The project included construction of a 200 CFS stormwater pump station. The pump station included a new cast-in-place concrete structure, 4 100-hp vertical turbine pumps, on-site electrical controls, and influent catch basin with a screen structure.
